GC-MS Detection of Volatile Metabolites of Two Endophytic Fungi from Camptotheca acuminate

  • The broths of endophyte fungi (X65 and X20) from Camptotheca acuminata were extracted with chloroform-methanol (4:1,volume ratio). Non-polarity and polarity volatile compounds were detected by GC-MS. A total of 88 volatile compounds were identified, 33 of which were detected in the two strains. The dominant components in non-polarity compounds were n-alkanes (25), followed by alkane Hall (15); 28 polarity compounds were identified, including 15 saturated fatty acids and 11 unsaturated fatty, 15 of which were detected in the two strains. The main polarity compounds of strain X65 and X20 were saturated fatty acids and unsaturated fatty acids, respectively. For the strain X65, 25 alkanes, 2 olefins, 1 cycloalkane, 16 saturated fatty acids, and 9 unsaturated fatty acids were indentified. For the strain X20, 24 alkanes, 14 huo alkanes, 2 olefines, 4 steroid alkanes, 14 naphthenes,12 saturated fatty acids, 5 unsaturated acids and 1 second amine were indentified.
