Study on the Qualitative Test and Detection Method of Active Components in Slag of Blumea balsamifera Extraction

  • In order to provide reliable basis for recycling and utilization of slag of Blumea extraction, the active components were detected by qualitative test and foam test, and the method for determination of the content of active components in slag of Blumea extraction were established by using UV method. The results indicated that the slag of Blumea extraction contained tannins, anthraquinones, flavonoids, polysaccharides and saponins, no alkaloids. Emodin, rutin, chlorogenic acid, ginsenoside (Rg1) and glucose were used as the reference substance, the contents of total anthraquinones, total flavonoids, total organic acids, total saponins and total polysaccharides were measured in 222, 420, 327, 554, 620nm, they could reach 3.176, 12.853, 18.715, 9.512, 13.120mg/g, respectively. These five proposed methods have precise, high precision and recovery, good repeatability and stability, which are simple, sensitive, accurate and reproducible. It is concluded that the way have high recovery utilization value for using slag of Blumea extraction to extract anthraquinones, flavonoids, polysaccharides, saponins and so on.
