Trends of Aroma Substances Content of Expanded Stem in Aging Process

  • In order to determine the optimal aging time of expanded stem, change trend of aroma substances content about microwave expanded stem in aging process was evaluated comprehensively based on the entropy weight method and TOPSIS model. The results showed that aroma substances content increased gradually from tobacco stem to expanded stem of aging 4 weeks. After, aroma substances content of expanded stem decreased gradually with the increase of aging time. Therefore, the optimal aging time of expanded stem should be 4 weeks. The comprehensive evaluation method overcomes the shortage of the traditional evaluation method of aroma substances content and it can provide data support for the optimization of aging time about expanded stem.
