Identification of the Pathogen Causing Canker on Juglans sigilltata L. and Indoor Screening of Fungicides

  • To identify the pathogen causing canker on Juglans sigilltata L. and screen fungicides, the pathogen collected from Dayao County of Yunnan Province was isolated and identified and 8 fungicides were tested in toxicity. By following the Koch's postulate, the pathogen was confirmed and was identified as Botryosphaeria dothidea based on its morphology and rDNA-ITS gene sequence. The toxicities in EC50 were 0.0604, 0.1690, 0.1778, 0.4769, 2.0947, 3.961 0, 4.2190 and 101.7643mg/L for fluazinam, tebuconazole, difenoconazole, azoxystrobin, thiram, thifluzamide, iprodione and cymoxanil, respectively.
