Abstract
The obstacle for continuous cropping is a demanding prompt solution problem of potatoes industry sustainable development. From four aspects including soil nutrition, soil enzyme, soil microbes and root exudates, we summarized the research status of obstacles about potatoes continuous cropping and expounded the mitigation effects of integrated cultivation on the obstacles of soil continuous cropping. The obstacle of continuous cropping could be the both crop and soil systems interior a result of the complex interaction of multiple factors. It is very difficult for single factor discussion to make a clearly explanation it the cause formation, therefore to explore the multifactor composite effect mechanism is necessary and meaningful. There is the need for continuous research to comprehensively determine the mechanism of continuous cropping obstacle. The integrated cultivation is an effective mitigation control technology of potatoes continuous cropping obstacle. Future studies on this domain should be emphasized on the combination of multidisciplinary and perfecting research methods as well as enlarging research field, which can systematically reveal the formation mechanism of continuous cropping obstacles.
