Abstract
Many kinds of diseases prevalence in breeding boars and spread through both horizontal and vertical from sow to offspring, resulting in the outbreak of respiratory disease and failure of production. To investigate the boars disease in large scale hoggeries in Yunnan Province in 2014,101 blood sample and 78 semen sample of boars were collected in 63 breeding pig farms to study the reproductive related disease by serological and antigen detection. Pig mycoplasma, wine brucellosis, wine toxoplasmosis and porcine pig infectious pleuropneumonia were tested. The results revealed that the prevalence rate was 32.67%, 6.93%, 8.91%, and 32.67%, respectively, in which 30 pigs were infected by single pathogen, 21 pigs were co-infected with pig mycoplasma and porcine pig infectious pleuropneumonia, two pigs were infected by three kinds of pathogens, none of them were infected with four kind of pathogen. By PCR, and serological test , the results showed that the infection by PRRSV was 12.82%.Two pigs were co-infected with CSFV and PRRSV2, one was triple-infected with PRRSV, PCV-2 and JEV.Based on the detection of 179 kinds of boars in antibodies,we found that the infection rate of swine disease in breeding pig farm was 42.13%, positive pig farms accounted for 82.53%.
