Abstract
With aromatic plants melissa shoots as materials, using the method of randomized complete block experimental design, effect of concentration of medium, plant growth regulators on rooting of cuttings of parts and balm cuttings was studied. The results showed that: V(peat):V(perlite)1:1 was an ideal cutting medium for melissa; cutting effect of IBA-Na+ 300 mg/L after 10 min of soaking, the rooting rate was 76.67%; the low concentration of IBA-Na+ was rooting conducive to melissa, high concentrations inhibited the rooting; the upper section 3 leafy cuttings was best for rooting with rooting rate 72.22%. Lemon balm plants selected upper section 3 leafy cuttings, after 300 mg/L IBA-Na+ treatment, with V(peat):V(perlite)1:1 as the matrix could obtain good quality cutting seedlings.
