Study Quality Characteristics of Active Panax notoginseng Ultra-fine Powder

Abstract
To study different batch activity Panax notoginseng ultra-fine powder microstructure of the ultra-fine powder was obtained using microscope, characterized identification was performed using TLC and FT-IR. Saponin contents were determined by means of HPLC. Other properties, such as moisture, ash, ethanolic extract and heavy metal residue were also investigated. The results showed that the average moisture content was 6.67%, the average ash was 3.29 %. The saponin content was 5.3 mg/g for R1, 30.1 mg/g for Rg1, 1.5 mg/g for Re, 27.9 mg/g for Rb1 and 4.7 mg/g for Rd. Heavy metal test showed a low content of 0.16 mg/kg for Pb, 0.23 mg/kg for Cd, 0.78 mg/kg for As, 0.03 mg/kg for Hg and 8.78 mg/kg for Cu. The study can provide some theory basis for quality standard and control of activity Panax notoginseng ultra-fine powder.
