Abstract
Field plot experiments were conducted to understand accumulation characteristics of Cd and Pb in plants of broad bean/Arabis alpina intercropping system through intercropping system of phytoremediation and broad bean in cultivated land around Pb/Zn mining area. The results showed that there was no significant different of broad bean and A. alpina height and biomass between monoculture and intercropping systems. Contents of Cd, Pb in bread bean were relatively the lowest in flowering stage. Contents of Cd, Pb in mature stage were the highest. Cd and Pb contents in intercropping system were higher 30.9% and 40.2% than those in monoculture system, respectively. Cd, Pb contents in A. alpina increased with the increase of planting time gradually. In intercropping conditions, Cd content of A. alpina was higher 12.6% than that in monoculture system and Pb content lower 9.04% than that in monoculture system. Cd enrichment coefficient in broad bean and A. alpina intercropping system was higher than in monoculture system. The enrichment coefficient of Pb in intercropping and monocropping systems was no difference. Transport coefficients of Cd and Pb of bean and A. alpina between monoculture and intercropping systems were no difference. The purification efficiencies of Cd and Pb in intercropping system were higher than those in monoculture system. Purification efficiency of A. alpina in monoculture and intercropping system was no difference. In conclusion, Cd, Pb contents of bean were lowest in flowering stage, and Cd, Pb contents of broad bean in intercropping system were higher than in monoculture system in the mature period; Cd and Pb contents of A. alpina were the highest in 120 d. Cd content of A. alpina in intercropping system was higher than in monoculture system. Pb content of A. alpina in intercropping system was lower than in monoculture system.
