Abstract
Pollens from 'Yunyan 87' and 'K326' were collected after spraying polyamines and polyamine synthesis inhibitor at flowering stages. Polyamines content and vigor of pollen were tested. The results showed that spraying exogenous polyamines improved polyamines content, protective enzyme activity and germination rate of pollen in different extent. Polyamine synthesis inhibitors had negative effect on polyamines content, protective enzyme activity and germination rate of pollens. The effect of 0.5 mmol/L putrescine was better than other treatments, polyamines content and protective enzyme activity of pollen were higher, the germination rates of pollen were increased by 10.03% to 34.00%. The results indicated that spraying suitable concentration of polyamines at flowering stages could improve polyamines content and vigor of pollen, which was used a method of regulation of pollen vigor.
