Comprehensive Analysis and Evaluation of Drought Resistance Indices in Ratoon Sugarcane

  • The method of membership function and cluster analysis were used to study the response of ratoon cane leaf senescence in the treatment, and the physiological and biochemical indicators such as the plasma membrane permeability, praline content, soluble sugar, malondialdehyde content (MDA), moisture content, chlorophyll content, net photosynthetic rate (Pn),intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci),stomata conductance(Gs),transpiration rate(Tr),water use efficiency(WUE) to drought resistance of ratoon cane.The results showed that combined with fuzzy membership function value of various physiological and biochemical indicators, by the cluster analysis, the eight varieties were divided into three categories,ROC 10,Yuetang 93-159, ROC 22, Guitang 11,Mintang 69-421 showed highly drought-resistance,Yuetang 86-368 showed moderately drought-resistance,Dianzhe 01-58 and Yacheng 89-9 showed weak drought-resistance, the results and morphological indices were basically the same.It was an effective way to comprehensively evaluate the ratoon cane by membership function and cluster analysis to avoid the bias and the instability of single factor analysis,which was suitable for many kinds of ratoon cane to compare.
