Chemical Constituents of from Needles of Pinus yunnanensis

  • To study the chemical constituents from the needles of Pinus yunnanensis,ten compounds were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel,Rp-18 silica gel,and Prep HPLC. Their structures were identified as(Z)-3-methoxy-5-hydroxystilbene(1),(E)-3-methoxy-5-hydroxystilbene(2), 4-methoxy-3-hydroxyphenylethanamine(3), 5,8,4'- trihydroxy-3,7-dimethoxy-6-methylflavone(4),5,8-dihydroxy-3,7,4'-trimethoxy-6-methylflavone(5),4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-butanone(6),pinoresinol(7),12-hydroxyabietic acid(8),-sitosterol(9) and linolenic acid(10) on the basis of 1H-NMR,13C-NMR and MS spectroscopy.The results provided scientific basis for pharmacological activity and utilization of P.yunnanensis.
