Study on Altitude and Soil Conditions of Flue-cured Variety 'K326'Suitable for Cigarette of Hongyun-Honghe

Abstract
In order to explore suitable altitude and soil conditions of flue-cured variety 'K326' in Yunnan main regions, the economic traits, smoking quality and aroma components of 'K326' variety leaf at different altitudes(1400, 1600, 1800, 2000 and 2200m), soil types(red soil, paddy soil, purple soil and yellow soil) and soil textures(clay, loam and sandy) were studied. The results showed that the optimum altitude is 1 400~1800m, the most suitable soil types are red soil and paddy soil, and the most suitable soil texture is loam.
