Study on the Influence of Process Parameters of Cylinder Dryer on the Moisture Content of Cut Tobacco during the Over-drying

Abstract
The related process parameters which affect the moisture content of cut tobacco during the over-drying process had been regression analyzed by SPSS statistical analysis software. The results showed that:(1) The regression equation during drying start was Y=8.265+0.716X1+0.730X2+0.686X3+0.710X4-0.699X5;The regression equation during drying end was Y=9.347+0.924X1+0.823X2-0.929X3.The correlation coefficients between the moisture content of over dried cut tobacco during drying start and moisture content of feeding cut tobacco,the steam flow rate, cylinder wall temperature of I section and Ⅱ section, the hot air temperature were 0.945,0.944,0.862,0.895 and-0.906.The correlation coefficients between the moisture content of over dried cut tobacco during drying end and the steam flow rate,cylinder wall temperature of I section and Ⅱ section were 0.859,0.757 and -0.897.(2)The moisture content of over dried cut tobacco during drying start was mainly affected by hot air temperature.The moisture content of over dried cut tobacco during drying finish was mainly affected by the steam flow.(3) Optimizing and improving HAUNI 6000kg/h drying test,the amount of over-drying cut tobacco was reduced by 38.7%.The mathematical model that the related process parameters affect the moisture content of over dried tobacco can effectively control the amount of over-drying cut tobacco,improve the production process control precision and optimize drying process.
