Research on Different Proportions of Chicken Manure-Tobacco Fine Waste on Compost Process

  • Tobacco waste was used as major materials and chicken manure as the auxiliary materials to study the effects of adding different proportions of chicken manure on temperature, pH value, C/N ratio, water-soluble NH4+-N contents and the compost quality during composting process based on adding biogas slurry and microbial agent. The results showed that, based on the adding chicken manure, the high temperature reaching time ( 50 ℃) in the composts was 2,2,3,4 and 5 d, respectively. The high temperature decomposing duration of each treatment was 7, 7, 6, 5 and 4 d.After the compost, the NH4+-N contents of treatment 1 to 5 were 232.6,213.2, 151.0,149.6 and 200.6 mg/kg, and the C/N ratios were 24.0,20.2,10.9,14.8 and 14.6.It is suggested that adding chicken manure to tobacco fine waste compost can accelerate the reduction rate of water-soluble NH4+-N and C/N ratio. While, adding chicken manure to tobacco fine waste compost can also increase the contents of T-N, T-P and T-K and improve the compost quality.
