Study on the Key Physiological and Biochemical Indices of C, N Metabolism of Different Geographical Strains of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis

  • The compared study on key physiological and biochemical indices of C, N metabolism of 13 geographical strains of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis taken from different provinces and geographical regions were carried out under the same planting condition. The result showed that there were significant difference of key physiological and biochemical indices among 13 geographical strains, but the change rule were not coordination, and there were vigorous C metabolism in northwestern region of Yunnan Province. Yunlong strain had high vigorous C metabolism and middle N metabolism, while Yongshan strain had vigorous N metabolism and middle C metabolism. From the point of view of C, N metabolic balance, Yunlong and Yongshan strain were better than others. There were increasing tendency of C metabolism strength with increased latitude and with decreased annual temperature and annual rainfall.
