Isolation and Identification of Endophytic Microorganisms in Yunnan Dendrobium officinale

Based on microbial culture and ribosomal DNA (rDNA) sequence analysis, a total of 41 strains of endophytic microorganisms were isolated from roots, branches and leaves in Yunnan Dendrobium officinale. Identification results showed,the quantity and species of microorganisms were different in roots,branches and leaves,but Bacillus oceanisediminis,Bacillus beringensis and Bacillus licheniformis were all discovered in roots and leaves. The research provided theoretical basis for developing and utilizing the resources of endophytic microorganisms in Dendrobium.
