Application of Falling Film Evaporator on the Concentration Technology of Tobacco Extract from Reconstituted Tobacco Leaf by Paper-making Method

To examine the application of falling film evaporator on the concentration technology of tobacco extract from reconstituted tobacco leaf by paper-making method,the efficiency of the double boiling type external circulation evaporator and multi-level tubular low temperature falling film evaporator were compared by measurement of viscosity,analysis of aroma components,sensory evaluation and detection of waste.The results indicated that external circulation evaporator had high concentration temperature, long time,high viscosity of concentrated solution,bad flow-ability and the aroma components to lose easily, and the water pollution indices of the external circulation evaporator were higher than those of falling film evaporator.In contrast,the falling film evaporator had lower temperature,shorter time,lower viscosity of concentrated solution,fine flow-ability and permeability and the maximum retention of aroma components.So the concentration efficiency of falling film evaporator is better than that of external circulation evaporator.
