Abstract
Effect of dolomite powder application on chemical properties in rhizosphere zone and flue-cured tobacco biomass in acidic soil with pot experiments was studied. The results indicated that: soil pH in rhizosphere zones of flue-cured tobacco was lower than that in non-rhizosphere zones. The contents of exchangeable aluminum (EAl) and exchangeable manganese (EMn) in rhizosphere soils were lower than those in non-rhizosphere zones. The contents of available phosphorus (AP) and available potassium (AK) in rhizosphere soils were far lower than those in non-rhizosphere zones. With increasing the dosage of dolomite powder, the soil pH increased, the contents of soil EAl and EMn decreased, and the contents of soil AP and AK increased. Moderate dosage of dolomite powder could promote tobacco growth. However, excessive dosage of dolomite powder inhibited tobacco growth. In this study, the suitable dosage of dolomite powder was 0.66~ 0.99 g/kg.
