Effect of Dry Mycelium of Penicillium chrysogenum and Bacillus subtilis Mixture on the Float Seedling of Nicotiana tabacum L.cv.K326 in Three Substrates

Abstract
In this study, regular substrate, sand substrate, biochar substrate and the float seeding-raising of tobacco variety K326 were conducted to study effect of dry mycelium of Penicillium chrysogenum (DMP),Bacillus subtilis(B68), DMP+B68 mixture on the biological characteristic of tobacco plant in seedling stage in the three substrate. The results showed that: the three float seeding-raising substrates could make the emergence rate reach 90.0%, but different substrate induced various functions. Regular substrate was beneficial to leaf number and plant height, while biochar substrate was beneficial to dry weight accumulation in three substrates. Eventually, adding 0.2 g DMP+B68 mixtures per plant had obviously effective effect on leaf number, stem diameter, above-ground dry weight and root dry ground of tobacco plant in the three substrates, especially in biochar substrate, the leaf number, stem diameter and dry weight accumulation were significantly improved (P<0.05). The treatment of adding 0.2 g DMP+B68 per plant was recommended to tobacco seedling production processing based on seedling status and tobacco seedlings quality. And we could try to use biochar substrate instead of regular substrate.
