The columns of soil fertility and plant protection had high citations and downloads. There was only one article published by independent author, and other articles were co-authored papers, with an average collaboration degree of 6.28 and an average co-authorship rate of 99.88%. Intermediate and associate senior professional title authors, as well as postgraduates, were the main author groups of the journal. The authors were distributed in 31 provincial administrative regions of China, among them, the authors from Yunnan Province published the highest number of articles, as well as the highest number of authors and articles within the university. The proportion of various fund projects was as high as 99.57%.
Conclusion The number of articles published in the journal has decreased compared to the previous five years; the sources of articles and the influence of the journal have certain limitations; the development of key columns needs to be further improved; the number of articles by authors with high academic degrees and high professional titles is fewer; and the time limit for article publication is still relatively lagging.
