PurposeTo study the control effect of chemical and biological nematicides on tobacco root-knot nematode disease.
Method0.5% avermectin oil, 10% fosthiazate granules, 25% avermectin carbosulfan emulsion and 0.25 billion spores of Verticillium chlamydosporium were used in the field trials of tobacco root-knot nematode disease.
ResultThe control effects of all agents on tobacco root-knot nematode were above 50%. Especially, the control effect of 10% fosthiazate granules on tobacco root-knot nematode was the best, the control effect was 81.45%, and the agronomic traits such as plant height and effective leaf number and the root traits such as volume and surface area were the best too, it’s yield increased by 424.55 kg/hm2 compared with the control, the economic income reached to 86499.28 yuan/hm2, it’s economic income was 16358.36 yuan/hm2 more than control. The control effect of 0.5% avermectin oil was the second, it’s control effect was 76.49%; and it’s agronomic and root traits were also excellent.
Conclusion10% fosthiazate granules and 0.5% avermectin oil can effectively control tobacco root-knot nematode, improve the quality of tobacco leaves, and increase the yield and output value.
