PurposeThe Luosuo River bridge project spans the Luosuo River State Fish Nature Reserve. In order to understand the impact the completion of Luosuo river bridge project on water ecology, we investigated the aquatic biological resources in the bridge engineering area.
MethodWater samples were collected, analyzed and evaluated according to national standards (SL 219—98); according to the handbook of fishery resources investigation in inland waters, the methods of on-the-spot fishing, market investigation and visiting were used to investigate and study aquatic organisms.
ResultIt turns out that there were 36 genera, 5 phyla of phytoplankton, of which was mainly composed of Bacillariophyta. The biodiversity of phytoplankton ranged from 1.98 to 2.62. There were 95 genera, 165 species of zooplankton, of which protozoa account for the most. We comprehensively analyzed the water quality of the river section with zooplankton and investigated the area as light clean water. We detected 26 species of large benthic animals, of which the largest species is phylum mollusca. We collected 34 species of fish belonging to 4 orders, 13 families, 30 genera, of which indigenous fish accounted for 79.41%.
ConclusionExisting aquatic biological resources in the survey area are abundant. Building bridges across rivers has very limited impact on water bodies, most of which can be restored in the short term.
