Purpose To study the flue-cured characteristics of upper tobacco leaves of Zhumadian tobacco area to optimize and improve the flue-cured technology of supporting varieties, and to provide theoretical support for the development of Henan strongly fragrant tobacco leaves.
Method The differences in moisture, pigment, polyphenol oxidase activity of Yunyan87, K326, Yuyan No.13, NC71 and Guiyan No. 2 and the appearance quality of flue-cured tobacco after intensive curing (0-96 h) were analyzed.
Result Yunyan87, NC71 and Guiyan No. 2 had good yellowing and water loss coordination, relatively good roasting resistance, and good appearance quality of flue-cured tobacco; K326 lost water quickly and had high pigment content and slow degradation. Yellowing was slightly slower, polyphenol oxidase activity was higher in the color fixing period, the flue-cured resistance was the worst, and the appearance quality of flue-cured tobacco was poor; Yuyan No.13 lost water slowly, pigment degradation was slow, yellowing was slow, polyphenol oxidation The content of enzyme was higher in the color setting period, the flue-cured resistance was relatively poor, and the appearance quality of flue-cured tobacco was relatively poor.
Conclusion Yunyan87, NC71 and Guiyan No. 2 should make the wet and dry bulb temperature in the yellowing period consistent with the yellowing and drainage of the tobacco leaves, and promote the coordination of the yellowing and dehydration of the tobacco leaves; Yuyan No.13 should be moderately moisturized yellow, prolong the yellowing time to 10-15 h, reduce the temperature difference between wet and dry bulbs to about 1 ℃; K326 should increase the amount of moisture, so that the temperature difference between dry and wet bulbs to 3-4 ℃. In order to promote the yellowing of the tobacco leaves, the speed of the fire transfer to the color fixing period should be stable. During the color fixing period, the humidity should be increased without increasing the temperature, and the internal substances of the tobacco leaves should be fully and transformed.
