Description of Three Parasitic Nematodes Form Grape Rhizosphere in Xinjiang

PurposeWith the increase of number of grape varieties planted in Xinjiang, the species of plant nematode disease could be increased. In order to master the species of parasitic nematodes occurring on grape-growing areas in Xinjiang and identify of parasitic nematode species in the grape roots, which increased research for grape parasitic nematodes content.

MethodThe grape rhizosphere soils from main grape production areas in Xinjiang were identified by morphological methods.

ResultThree species of parasitic nematodes were identified: Scutllonema brachyurus, Xiphinema americanum, Cricomemella profuse.

ConclusionIn this study, we identified the species of parasitic nematodes which endanger grapes in Xinjiang.
