Purpose To reveal the ecological factors closely related with the style features of the typical mountain type flue-cured tobacco in Longshan County.
Method Based on the meteorological data from 1986 to 2015, we analyzed the climate change characteristics of flue-cured tobacco field growth period of Longshan Country by a nonlinear polynomial regression method.
Results (1) The average daily temperature, sunshine time and rainfall of the root spreading stage of flue-cured tobacco in Longshan County were 20.54 ℃, 3.83 h, 10.41 mm, respectively, and air humidity was also suitable for the growth of flue-cured tobacco. However, the average daily temperature and sunshine time fluctuated greatly. (2) At the rapid growth stage of flue-cured tobacco in Longshan County, the average daily temperature, sunshine time and rainfall were 24.52 ℃, 4.39 h and 12.14 mm, respectively. Relative humidity increased at first and then decreased, and fluctuated greatly. (3) At the maturing stage air humidity is moderate, the value of which was 77.77%. The average daily temperature and sunshine time were higher in early stage and then decreased rapidly in later period.
Conclusion The average sunshine time, daily temperature and rainfall in field growth stages of flue cured tobacco increased synchronously in Longshan tobacco growing area. The daily temperature and air humidity were suitable. Rainfall was abundant, and sunshine time was less in the early stage and abundant at the later stage. The unique meteorological conditions of Longshan provide a guarantee for the formation of typical mountain characteristic tobacco leaves.
