Purpose The excellent isolate was selected and its chemical compounds of different polar parts were studied to explore the functional ingredients of O. lanpingensis.
Method The excellent isolate with rich compounds at different polarity was screened by TLC. Compounds was extracted from fermentation product of the isolate with different polar solvent, separated and purified from the crude extracts by silica gel column chromatography, TLC, gel chromatography and recrystal. The obtained pure compounds were identified by hydrogen and carbon spectrum.
Result An excellent isolate with highest comprehensive index was obtained and 31 fractions of crude products (10 fractions at ethanol portion, 12 fractions at ethyl acetate portion, 9 fractions at petroleum ether portion) were separated from different polar crude extracts of its fermentation product. Seven pure compounds were purified and identified as fatty acids, glyceride, ursolic acid, β-sitosterol, uridine, D-mannitol and organic acid.
Conclusion Chemical compounds of different polarity was separated and purified from fermentation product of O. lanpingensis isolate and 7 pure compounds were identified. Thereinto, ursolic acid was firstly isolated in Cordyceps s.l.
