Innovation and Practice on Personnel Training of Water Science and Engineering Based on New Engineering

As the building of new engineering deepens, it provides a vital opportunity for the development of engineering specialty in colleges and universities. Based on the existing specialty, the most prominent feature of the new engineering specialty personnel training touches on the emphasis of the interdisciplinary integration and innovation. Taking the specialty personnel training of new engineering discipline of water science and engineering in Yunnan Agricultural University as an example, the paper gives prominence to the new educational development idea of integration and innovation, and conducts research and practice on the specialty personnel training innovation of water science and engineering discipline from “five dimensions” which include the integration and innovation of specialty personnel training and industry demand, of education and morality cultivation, of disciplinary essence and featured extension, of traditional teaching and information technology, and of school-enterprise cooperation and collaborative education.
