The Influence of Agricultural Extension on the Ecological Planting of Tea

  • Tea is a characteristic cash crop in mountainous areas, and the development of ecological tea has become an effective way for economic development and farmers’ income in mountainous areas. Among the factors that affect farmers’ ecological tea planting in mountainous areas, technical extensions an important one. This study analyzes the relation between mountains agro-technique extension to ecological tea farmers planting. First, the possible influence of agricultural technology popularization in mountainous areas on farmers’ tea ecological planting was analyzed qualitatively, and then Combined with the questionnaire survey data of farmers in Huangshan city, Anhui province, Logit model was used to quantitatively analyze the influence of agricultural technology popularization in mountainous areas on farmers’ ecological tea planting. The results of the model show that the farmers’ participation in technical training and regular communication with agricultural technicians have an obvious promoting effect on the selection of ecological planting behavior of tea.
