Seed Science and Engineering Professional English Course Teaching Program Reform and Practice

Seed Science and Engineering professional English courses teaching and existing problems were summarized in this paper. Several reforming methods were carried out and proposed for improving the students study enthusiasm and study effect. First, the high quality articles of the famous seed scientist in the world were chosen as systematic teaching material; reversal teaching of classroom was used, making students speaking in teaching classroom; and change the way of final examination from written to oral examination for some students according their choice. Cultivate professional English listening, speaking, reading and writing ability of seed professional and technical talent, to meet rising the demand of seed professional foreign language talents for our international seed industry to go out into the world.
