The Influencing Factors of Farmers’ Homestead Transfer Intention after a New Round of Housing Reform: Empirical Test Based on the Survey Data of Pilot Farmers in Dali of Yunnan

  • Based on the survey data of 251 farmers in 17 administrative villages in Dali pilot area of homestead reform, this paper analyzes the farmers’ homestead transfer intention after the new round of homestead reform, describes the samples statistically, uses logistic regression model, adopts the step-by-step selection strategy based on maximum likelihood estimation, and makes regression analysis on the factors affecting the farmers’ homestead transfer intention. The results show that the education level of farmers, the annual income of farmers, the transfer experience of farmers’ homestead and the approval degree of whether the homestead can be sold freely have a significant impact on their willingness to transfer homestead. Based on the analysis conclusion, it is suggested to perfect relevant laws, policies and regulations, relax the threshold of homestead transfer, create transfer space, expand the scope of reform, activate idle homestead, so that more farmers can enjoy the reform dividend, establish a standardized and complete homestead transfer market, and protect the rights and interests of farmers.
