The Construction of Urban-Rural Integration Mechanism from the Perspective of Marx and Engels' Thought of Urban-Rural Integration

The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that to take the road of revitalizing the socialist countryside with Chinese characteristics, we must reshape the relationship between urban and rural areas and take the road of urban and rural integration and development. On the basis of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, Marx and Engels' thought of urban-rural integration reveals the unity of opposites between urban and rural areas, which provides a scientific theoretical basis for the development of urban and rural areas in China. Firstly, this paper combs the main points of Marx's and Engels' thoughts on urban-rural integration, then reviews the development process of urban-rural relationship in China. Based on the main problems facing urban-rural development at the present stage, in order to better promote urban-rural integration, from the urban-rural two-wheel drive mechanism and the allocation mechanism of resource elements, it is necessary to improve the integration of urban and rural areas. The equal mechanism of vegetable mobility, the innovation mechanism of industrial integration and the mechanism of comprehensive land consolidation are discussed in depth.
