Respect, Close to the Nature: the Practice and Discussion of Permaculture Concept in Damoyu Village, Yunnan

Permaculture is a simplebut practical sustainable systemic concept, whichadvocates its characteristic of understanding nature, imitating nature, and sharing.This study took Damoyu village of Kunming as the research area to conduct the field observation as well as the key informants'interview on the topics of agricultural practice, design application and culturalactivities of permaculture concepts. A conclusion can be draw that permaculture method couldraise the crop yield which the practice changed the cultivation producer, the adoptive house-design from permaculture concept is beneficial to realize the purpose of multi-functional housing; and the harmony relationship between indigenous households and new comers are boosting therevitalization of local civilization.
