An Analysis of Urban and Rural Residents' Happiness Level and Regional Difference:Based on the 16 District' Statistical Data in Beijing

Happiness has always been the focus of people's attention and the ultimate goal of people's life. Domestic and foreign literatures have studied the happiness level of the residents,However, there are few researches on the happiness level measurement of Beijing' residents. The Paper puts the 16 area in Beijing as the research object, using the statistical data, and analyzes urban and rural residents' income, housing, employment, health, family and leisure situation, finally,this paper uses weighted summation method to measure happiness levels of urban and rural residents, and analyzes the regional differences. The results show that there are differences between the material life and non-material life of urban and rural residents. The regional difference of material life is obvious, and the regional difference of non-material life depends on the different population groups. The difference of happiness level between urban and rural residents is significant and the regional characteristics are obvious.
