The Empirical Analysis of the Effect of Multiple Poverty Reduction Methods:Investigation Questionnaire Based on 203 Poor Village Directors in Changzhi City of Shanxi Province

The poverty alleviation efforts of China having entered the final stage, and various ways to help the poor are in full swing, but the effect of the different approaches to poverty reduction is dissenting. Taking 203 poor village directors in related counties and districts of Changzhi city in Shanxi province as the object of investigation, this paper analyzes the effect of different poverty alleviation methods by using Ordered logit regression. The results show that the effect of poverty alleviation with inclusive effect is obvious, the effect of poverty alleviation which deviates from the needs of poor groups is unclear,the project-based approaches to poverty alleviation even reduce the effectiveness of poverty reduction. So the article suggests that poverty alleviation methods with inclusive effects should expand their advantages steadily; project-based methods of poverty alleviation should be improved to meet the needs of the people and achieve "accuracy of poverty reduction outcomes".
