Abstract
Experimental teaching is the key component of the genetics course system, which plays an irreplaceable role in cultivating the scientific quality of students, including creative thinking, independent working ability and sense of responsibility. However, there are some problems in genetics experiment teaching, such as low student participation, low interest in learning and backward teaching contents. Although some agricultural universities of China have put forward some reform plans for genetic experiments teaching,but there is a conflict between experimental hours and theoretical hours. The factors that affect the scores of students in genetics experimental teaching is analyzed, and corresponding teaching reform proposals for the found problems were put forward in the paper.
