The Practice and Mode of Targeted Poverty Alleviation in Agricultural Universities

Targeted poverty alleviation in agricultural universities is the inevitable requirement of implementing the major national strategic deployment,an important way to serve local economic and social development,and an objective need to promote the development of themselves. This paper studied the 16-year poverty alleviation cases of Yunnan Agricultural University in Yaoan County,summarized the innovative mode of targeted poverty alleviation,and analyzed the difficulties and problems faced by current agricultural universities in participating in targeted poverty alleviation,and put forward some measures and suggestions on further strengthening the targeted poverty alleviation in agricultural universities from the aspects of the main role of poor people,the advantages of industrial poverty alleviation in agricultural universities and the help of cadre pairing.
