Abstract
Yangla Village (Deqin County,Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province)is located at the junction of Yunnan,Sichuan and Tibet,known as the place that "cockcrow heard in three provinces". Tibetan Buddhism is the local belief. There are 7 Gelugpa Temples in Yangla Village and the number of its Tibetan Buddhist Monastery is the largest village in 29 villages and towns of Yunnan Tibetan area. The special geographical location and cultural ecology help Yangla Village form a full-bodied Tibetan Buddhism culture. More importantly, Yangla Village has always maintained an orderly trend of social development. According to the concrete actuality of Yangla Village,this paper analyzes the influence of Tibetan Buddhism on the social, economic and cultural aspects,and explores the significance of Tibetan Buddhism to the development of the whole Tibetan area.
