The Current Situation of Students' Environmental Education in Agricultural Universities

This paper investigated 1077 students from different grades and majors of Yunnan Agricultural University on the practical environmental education situation through questionnaires. It turns out that:Students have got a comprehensive understanding of the current global environmental problems; there are professional differences in students' understanding of the value of the environment; students have subjective awareness of environmental protection but lack of practices; students generally believe that it is necessary to achieve effective environmental education through media and school education. Besides, this paper also discusses the importance and approaches of implementing environmental education on university students.
