Rural Land Transfer in Maoqiao Village of Leshan City in Sichuan

Based on the survey of the current situation of rural collective land use right transfer in Maoqiao Village, the authors sort out the characteristics of the local land transfer and analyze the problems and obstacles encountered in the process of land transfer. In order to facilitate rural land transfer in Maoqiao Village, the relevant solutions are put forward such as actively fostering the new-style agricultural management entities, developing intermediary service organizations for land transfer, increasing non-agricultural employment, innovating rural land transfer modes, and carrying out extensive publicity and education toward farmers as well as giving full play to the guiding role of village collective organizations in land transfer.
