Teaching Model Reform of Adult Higher Correspondence Education

  • Correspondence education is a major type of adult higher education. In the long-term development, correspondence teaching pattern has made great contribution to the development of adult higher education. But with the development of the situation, the correspondence education has faced a lot of problems including the contradiction between work and study is obvious; part-time or self study is difficult to meet the needs; educational concepts and methods are behind; high teaching cost and low teaching efficiency are also serious. Using the characteristics of network teaching for reference, then accelerating the reform of teaching pattern, it is the development direction of the adult higher education. To ensure the success of reform, the following measures needs to be taken: (1)Integrating resource; (2)Setting up the teaching and management ideas of focusing on students; (3)Establishing the teaching model of the network development of correspondence education; (4)Unifying the teaching standards and management requirements of correspondence and network education; (5)Strengthening the development and management of face-to-face and remote courses.
