Abstract
In this paper, Presentation-Assimilation-Discussion (PAD) class was preliminary applied in Food Additives course, which was the major elective course for Food quality and Safety. The teaching model, combines the traditional teaching and discussion class, enhances the interaction both student-student and teacher-student, gives their subjective thinking and personal development, increases the attraction of teaching and promotes the overall improvement of teaching qualityso as to increase the attraction of teaching and achieve the goal of improving the overall promotion of teaching quality base on encouraging their active studying and developing their better learning habit.
