An Analysis of the Influencing of Human Capital and Employment Situation on the Occupational Mobility of Migrant Workers: Based on Survey in Fuzhou and Xiamen

Abstract
Based on the sampling survey data of migrant workers in two cities of Fuzhou and Xiamen, this paper uses the negative binomial regression to analyze the influential factors of the occupational mobility of migrant workers from the perspective of human capital and employment situation. Then,it uses tobit regression to analyze the reliability of the test results. Research shows that the frequency of changing job of the new generation migrant workers is notable higher than the old generation of migrant workers. The frequency of changing job of unmarried migrant workers is higher than the married migrant workers. Educational background, whether mastering several technology, are not significant for migrant workers. The more of the working days per week the higher of the occupational mobility of migrant workers. Labor contract, social insurance, job satisfaction have significant negative impact on the occupation mobility of migrant workers. On this basis, some scientific suggestions should be forward to solve the occupational mobility of migrant workers.
