Ways of Chinese Rural Old-age Security under the Background of Urbanization: A Case of Y Village of Parker Town in Langzhong of Sichuan Province

The acceleration of China's urbanization process brings a series of challenges to the construction of the rural old-age security. This essay takes Y village of parker town in Langzhong of sichuan province as the study case, uses the method of questionnaire and interview, and analyzes the problems faced by rural old-age security, such as the function weakening of the traditional family endowment, the insufficiency of old-age security fund, the old-fashioned basic pension service facilities, etc. On this basis, it puts forward some countermeasures, such as combining family endowment and social endowment pension model, widening the capital sources of rural old-age security, perfecting rural basic old-age service facilities, so as to make the whole society pay more attention to the problems of rural old-age, ensures the rural elderly can be looked after properly, and can be happy.
