A Research on the Traditional Craftsmanship of Mongolia Zanba

  • Zanba is an indispensable part of traditional pasta in the daily diet of Mongolians in Xinjiang. Its craftsmanship is still well preserved nowadays in the natives life. However, there is no record of it in present documents, so people have little knowledge of the craftsmanship. A survey of a full recording of Xinjiang Mongolian herdsmen making Zanba, which without doubt is an effective protection and inheritance of the craftsmanship.
