Analysis on Obstructions in Classroom Communication: from the Perspective of Field and Ritual

This ritual makes teachers dominate the class in classroom communication unconsciously, and students co-operate with the domination of their teachers. Under the requirements of the new curriculum reform, teachers and students are equal learning community. Classroom teaching is the process of exchange and interaction between teachers and students. The rules of classroom teaching field have been changed. However, behind renewal of teaching notions, the ritual-teacher dominates the class-has not been shaped and thus causes the communication obstruction. This paper will briefly analyze obstruction and discuss the way of obstruction from the perspective of field and ritual.
