A Study of Present Situation of the Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools of Yunnan Province and Developing Suggestions

Abstract
Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools is an important carrier of the internationalization of higher education in China. Through development in about 30 years, it has stepped into a new steady phase of quality-emphasized level. Till August of 2015, there have been 79 cooperative institutions and 1 041 programs national wide. However, Yunnan province only set up 10 cooperative programs till now. This article statistically analyzes the present situation of the Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools in China and Yunnan province, which results in finding out that the quantity, cooperative partners and disciplines of Yunnan's cooperative programs are not enough for the internationalization of higher education. Several advices are raised up such as to strengthen the support and regulations of the local government and improve the quality control system.
