Investigation and Study on the Current Situation of Bilingual Teachers in the Minority Concentrated Area of Yunnan

  • The key to improve the quality of bilingual teaching lies in bilingual teachers in Yunnan, which is a multi-nationality, multi-language, and muiti-culture province. To understand the present situation of bilingual teachers in the minority concentrated area of Yunnan Province, the group members are through literature review, questionnaire and interview to research the current situation of bilingual teachers in the minority concentrated area, such as Dehong, Nujiang, Baoshan and Xishuangbanna. Minority bilingual teachers' unreasonable structure and their whole quality is not high has been restricting bilingual educationbottleneck. To strengthen and stabilize the bilingual teachers in the minority concentrated area of Yunnan Province,needing to increase the level of pre-service cultivation, post training and the system security of certain degree.
