Empirical Research on Compensation for Farmers to Participate in the Ecological Public-Welfare Forest Protection

  • Based on the behavioral theory, collected dates from 16 village and towns as well as 120 peasant households, and taking Fujian province as the research object, this paper uses the Logistic model to analyses the impact of ecological public-welfare forests compensation on protection of farmers' ecological public-welfare forest. It found that farmers get ecological public-welfare forest compensation is significant under 5% level, and their degree of satisfaction is significant under 10%. On this basis, the author proposes measures and some related policy recommendations to improve the ecological forest compensation.
