Using Multimedia Technique to Enhance the Intuitive and Vitality of ECT

Abstract
Through the practice in college English classroom teaching (ECT), the author illustrates that the use of multimedia technology to make a variety of ways of organic combination in the graphics, text, sound, and picture etc. in assisting in teachers' teaching and students' learning, can enhance the intuitive and vitality of ECT. In this paper, the design of multimedia courseware, the reasonable expressive manner, and the integration of information technology and discipline teaching requirements are being put forward. The author believes that adopting appropriate learning mode to conform to the teaching requirements, paying attention to the characteristic of discipline, and taking advantage in the function of information technology, the teaching activities can well be regulated and controlled; Multimedia applications should be on the purpose of teaching, and on promotion of the students' active participation, so as to cultivate their innovation spirit and practice ability.
